Hi I'm Electric Lime but you can call me Eli!
I'm a friendly sweetheart who is very well potty trained and great with other dogs. I think I've handled my transition to city living pretty well and I love going on walks to meet all my new neighbors. I tend to bunny hop when I'm really excited or play with another dog. My foster mom says I want to cuddle and jump on everyone but what do you expect... I'm only about 4-5 months old! I love exploring, sniffing and pulling out all the toys out of the toy box to see what sounds they make and shaking them all around. I love other dogs and humans of all sizes. I've been asked how I feel about cats but haven't had the pleasure yet. I'm pretty sure we'd get along great though! Some things people have said to me "my goodness, aren't you cute!" "Are you always this playful?" "You're so soft!" I seem to be pretty a pretty popular new kid in the neighborhood. I'm great at walking on a leash, and always wait to pee until you take me outside.
I have no problem sleeping through the night in my crate. During the day I've been staying at home all on my own and have been doing great. There's a good chance you'll find me in my crate snoozing away while there's no one to play with. Ive got a lot of puppy energy when I'm awake but at this age I'm still getting a lot of beauty sleep. I'm pretty quiet around the house but may be a little whiny if you leave me in my crate too long while you're home. I really just want to be with you and explore!
My favorite thing is being with you. If you're not petting me and playing with me there is a good chance I'll have brought 4 or 5 toys over to play with near you. I'd love to be with you fur the rest of my days.
ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
