My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hello! I`m Beau, a Shepherd/Husky mix puppy born on 06/21/2024 who is looking for my furever family... I`m hoping maybe that can be you??? I weigh around 14 lbs. at 13 weeks old.

I currently live with 2 big dogs. And my foster Moms 2 year old granddaughter comes to visit several times a week.
In the short time that I've been with my foster family I have already learned to use the stairs. I love to play with my toys but still need to learn that humans are not chew toys. My foster Mom just started to go on short walks with me and it`s so much fun. I`m also having fun playing and chasing the big dogs or getting chased by them. I think if you have a playful dog that would be great, I'd love to have a playmate to keep me company and teach me things at your house. A fenced in backyard would also be great because I love to be outside with my humans.
I am doing good with house training as long as I am on a regular schedule.
I will go in my crate for a treat but will whine and bark for a little while before I settle down. So no shared walls are best for me and your neighbors. My foster Mom has my crate next to her bed at night and I sleep through the night without whining or accidents.
My Foster Mom says I am a good boy. Anyway I am still a puppy and have a lot to learn and am hoping to find the family that will help me to be my best. Maybe that could be you???
Thank you for checking me out, let`s meet soon!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes adoption application which can be completed at our website wagsmn.org. Current fees can also be accessed on our website. After reviewing your application, a meeting is scheduled between you and the pet in the foster’s home or a neutral dog friendly place. If there are any resident dogs in your home, it is required that the dogs meet at this time. After the meeting, a home visit is scheduled and, if everything goes well with the visit, the adoption is finalized. A home visit by one of our representatives is required prior to finalizing any adoption, and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason Adoption fee includes: vet exam(s), spay/neuter, de-worming, heartworm test (if 6 months of age or older), vaccinations, microchip, and FIV/FeLv testing (for cats only). Email is the best way to get a fast response (wagswhiskersmn@gmail.com).

Go meet their pets
