My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BIO: My name is Mama Mittens and my foster mom created a poem about me! Sweet Mittens is a delight,
With extra little toes and fur so bright.
She prances with purrs, a picture of peace,
Every cuddle and nuzzle makes the love never cease.
She's orange and adorable, a fuzzy little flame,
Without her polydactyl paws, it just wouldn't be the same!

RESCUE: Me and my 6 babies were dumped on a property in the middle of the scorching heat. I was struggling to keep my babies fed but we all suffered. ARC was called and lucky for us, they had foster space available. We could now get healthy and grow up safely indoors. We're so grateful we don't have to live outside any longer and we're ready to find our fur-ever family!

FAVORITE ITEMS: Soft mouse toys, feathers on strings, laser
ADDITIONAL INFO: Polydactyl
FOOD: Purina One Adult food
GOOD WITH: People, kids, and cats

More about this rescue

Like the animals that come our way, Animal Rescue Connections (ARC) may be small but we make a big difference in people’s and animals’ lives. Primarily serving Bulverde, Comal County, and Northern San Antonio, ARC is an all-foster based organization with volunteers who are passionate about our adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and helpline programs.

Located in Bulverde TX, we are an all-foster organization, caring for our rescued animals in our own homes. Because we are not a shelter, we cannot take in all the animals we get called about, but we can find the "connections" you need to help you with your rescued, lost or found animal.
