This is my baby Smokey aka Gunsmoke we rescued him in November when we found him emaciated and very weak. We brought him to life, taught him how to play and fell in love. In the beginning we did notice some food aggression due to his history but worked with a vet to get it fixed this is no longer an issue but are not sure if it would still be one with another dog in the home. Recently he has started to bite when we leave the house, he no longer respects the leash and will try to bite it off/ bite my arms in a tantrum. We know he needs more space and exercise but his behavior has made it very difficult to even get him to the car for the dog park.He needs training but we cant afford the cost for any places I’ve reached out to.We spoke to the vet this week and the only option other than rehoming is to behavior euthanasia and I cant let this happen. This is my last resort I have reached out everywhere I can find. He needs a loving human to see the good in him &give him a chance at life🙏
