My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Arthur may not be royal but, if you adopt him, your home would become his magical kingdom of Camelot. He doesn't care if your table is round, rectangular or square, he'd love to sit near it with you.

Or he'd be happy to curl up with you and watch TV. Yes, this Labrador retriever/German shepherd mix is a great cuddle buddy who thrives on human affection.

Arthur is also good-looking, boasting a striking brindle coat, white toes and a white sock and chest. He enjoys it when you stroke his short smooth fur, sometimes returning your pets with kisses.

Arthur would make a wonderful companion for a single person and is also gentle enough for a family with children. He's a medium energy pup currently sharing his foster's apartment with several dogs. This is possible both because Arthur gets a long walk each day and because he enjoys playing with other canines. You can call Arthur chivalrous since he shows no aggression  with other dogs over food, water, or toys. Yes he loves those chew toys, but he's willing to share!

As for walks, Arthur adores them. He's good on a leash, easygoing and preferring to stay close to his person. Arthur also likes car rides, making it fun to take him to the park.

Of course Arthur is only seven months old. He has some growing left to do, both physically and emotionally. He had a hard early life and, although improving weekly, is still shy when meeting new people. Once Arthur spends a little time with someone, his sweet, playful side emerges.

Being intelligent, Arthur is crate trained and making very good progress with his house training. He is quiet and doesn't jump on people. So if you're looking for a cuddly companion who's relatively easy to care for, be Arthur's knight in shining armor - apply to adopt him today!
