Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Can you imagine running away or being kicked out of your house and then having 3 kids to take care of when you are barely older than a kid yourself? Because that’s what Jupiter’s life was before she was brought into the ACC and then to us. She had been found in an apartment hallway with her three kittens when they were barely a week old and she was barely older than a year old herself.
She came to us a couple days after she had been brought into the ACC and it was obvious she had been in a home recently with how quickly and confidently she settled into our cat room and with how easily she accepted us being around her kittens and handling them. She was very ready to give them to a babysitter for a little bit at a time and would take advantage to go explore.
She was fantastic with her kittens and taught them well, raising them to be playful, confident, and loving little cats but she was ready to be done with motherhood when they found their forever homes, and now it’s Jups turn to find her own family!
She’s very confident and gets along pretty well with male cats, but can be a bit of a brat with other females. She also made it very well known that she would not like to live with dogs and is not afraid to square up to any that she meets, even if they are 50 lbs bigger than her. She adores kids though, and would do great in a home with or without kids of any age.
Medically, she’s been pretty healthy since she’s been with us, but she does have a very sensitive stomach and does best on a chicken based diet. If her food gets changed quickly or something big stresses her out, she’ll have a bit of an upset tummy for a few days but doesn’t let it bother her or slow her down.
Jupiter is about a year and a half old now and is ready to find her forever family! She’s spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. We don’t have any set fees, but do ask that a donation be made when Jups is adopted and are requesting a donation of $150.
If you’re looking for a cat who’s equally cuddly as she is playful, look no further! Jupiter is that cat for you! You can fill out an application for her on our website, waywardranch.org, or reach out if you have any questions!
