Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Reno is a very sweet and playful little girl who's looking for a respectful, loving, and patient family to call her own. Reno is a sensitive soul and loves people just enough to get herself into some sticky situations. She might have a moment of bravery and climb into your lap for a snuggle before she realizes that "wait, no, this is actually super scary and she'll run away with a little scream. And that's Reno for you: sweet, friendly, scared, and just so conflicted she doesn't really know what to do with herself. Reno does best with a slow approach and a person who knows how to read dog body language and respect her space when she isn't feeling so brave. Reno would do best in an adult-only home. She has no experience with other dogs and cats but may do well if they are gentle and won't crowd her too much.
**Reno is in our special adoption program to find her her dream family. If you'd like to learn more about her and set up and meet and greet, please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and email Claire at cshamgochian@parl.org**

The first step in our adoption process is to submit an adopter profile through our website. We then encourage you to visit PARL at 34 Elbow Street and get to know the animals we have available. You do not need an appointment, and we invite you to visit us often. PARL’s goal is to assist you in finding your best match for a lifelong companion.
When you arrive, you’ll sign PARL’s visitor log, and staff will direct you to PARL’s cat rooms, small animal spaces, or dog kennels (depending on your preference.) We encourage you to spend time outside with the dogs, or petting our cats and small animals. Please ask questions -- that's why we're here.
If you don't find what you are looking for the first time, please come see us again! Chances are that we will have some new furry friends available for adoption, and one of them might be purr-fect for you!
