This handsome spooky guy joined City of Elderly Love after being trapped as a community cat to be neutered but was found to be an older guy who desperately needed some dental care and who would better benefit from an indoor retirement rather than returning to the streets. Scar is an easy-going sweet guy who will be an easy addition!
Scar is estimated to be around 10-12 years old because of the condition of his teeth, had a full mouth extraction done in August. He's so much more comfortable now and can chow down on both wet and dry food without issue. His gummy little smile just makes him cuter in our opinions! Not to mention his total dad bod and sporadic grey hairs. Scar has been fully vetted since coming to the rescue and besides having some age-related arthritis and allergies which occasionally causes him to overgroom, he's in great health! Scar is definitely an extroveterd cat. He's a happy and energetic cat who loves to greet visitors and will be the first to snuggle up with you. He's happily met children and is currently in foster care with dogs and cats! We think he'd be happiest in a home with other low-key pets due to his age, but he'd be great for a lower-key pack. Consider giving this sweet boy a loving retirement home!
Scar is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love! He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is also FIV/FeLV negative. Interested in adopting him? Visit cityofelderlylove.org to complete an online adoption questionnaire or email us at info@cityofelderlylove.org!
