Hi! My name is Jack and I’m a 6 year old White German Shepherd. Unfortunately, my mom had a stroke and can no longer safely care for me, so I’m looking to find a new family. I love chewing on sticks and playing with balls, getting butt scruffs and belly rubs, and am VERY food motivated. I haven’t had a lot of experience with other dogs or kids and I’ve never met a cat, so I’m not sure how I would handle that. I am used to running around in my fenced yard and get a little confused on the leash during walks—but I’m learning! I am big, fast, loving, super smart and very silly. People must come in for personal interview and complete adoption form. If renting, written permission from landlord is required. Adoption fee is $225. We require animals be returned to our facility if adoption does not work out. We require a signed agreement never to chain or crate an animal (crate exception for transport only). We DO NOT support crating! We follow up with phone call or home visit within first month. Adoptions are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call 231-944-6520. You must be 21 years or older to adopt.
