My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a dog that is small but mighty? Look no further! Meet Nicodemus!

Nicodemus is a 4-year-old Miniature Pinscher/Mix. Nicodemus is affectionately known around here as `Nico`! Nico is a very special boy. He is incredibly smart, food motivated, and aims to please. He would be a super fun dog for someone looking to work on training, as he picks things up very quickly.

Nico`s idea of a good time is chasing his stuffed squeaky toys. Nico can be slow to warm up to new people, however once he does he will never leave your lap (Literally, good luck getting any work done with this cutie on your lap!). Nico`s ideal adopter is a quiet, patient adopter with experience with shy dogs that will give him the space, time, and love that he needs to come out of his shell with success. Nico may enjoy a home with other animals as long as slow introductions are preformed. Nico is looking for a home without young children.

If you think Nico may be the one for you, fill out an adoption application on our website or get in touch with us at wausharacoanimalshelter@gmail.com!
