My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here is the sweetest little explorer you`ll ever meet! Brownie loves spending her time hopping around on cat trees, showing off her curious and playful nature. Whether she`s investigating new corners of her space or perching up high to observe her surroundings, she`s always on the move, ready for her next adventure. With her bright eyes and gentle demeanor, she`s sure to win over your heart in no time.

When she`s not busy exploring, Brownie enjoys lounging around, relaxing in the coziest spots she can find. Her favorites pass-times are lazy afternoons, content to keep anybody company as she soaks up the sunshine or curls up for a nap. Brownie`s calm yet curious personality makes her a joy to be around, and she’ll surely bring warmth and happiness to any place she goes.

Reason for Foster: FELV+ & GI Upset

Foster Time Frame: 1 Week

Foster Care Plan: Brownie is being treated for GI upset. She will go home with probiotics and food for sensitive stomachs. She will have a recheck with the medical team in 1 week to hopefully be cleared for adoption.

FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus) is a condition that can affect a cat`s lifespan, but many cats with this virus can still live happy and healthy lives for a long time. While FeLV+ is not easily transmitted to humans, it can be spread among cats through saliva, urine, feces, and blood. For this reason, we recommend that FeLV+ cats be the only cat in a household or live with other FeLV+ cats.

Foster to Adopt: Brownie is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.
