Bio: Chimichanga may resemble a deep fried burrito but that's just more to love!! This sweet little girl has opened up so quickly in her foster home and has not had any accidents yet(knock on wood)! It's clear from one look at this pup she's here for a snuggly time. Chimi LOOOOVES being pet, snuggling and all things related. If you don't mind a sweet little snore in your ear every once in a while she's the perfect nap companion. She has a history of escaping fences when separated from people and while her foster home hasn't seen it yet she does prefer to be included in all activities(she'll keep your towel warm while you shower if you leave the bathroom door open) and will voice her opinion if she's excluded.

Home Check

We ask for a virtual home tour (pictures or videos) Can be submitted through the application or when we contact.

3.
Interview

We will discuss what your looking for and if the current pet fits that or match you with someone who does . Done via phone.

4.
Approve Application

There is 3 days from time of approved app to determine a meet and greet

5.
Meet the Pet

All household members must be present and any current dogs.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Fee is paid. Adoption photo (if adopter is okay with ) is taken

7.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We keep our applications on file for a year. We try very hard for the best match all around. Definitely can switch the dog you applied for if a better fit is found.

We are a foster based rescue so unles we have am adoption event (usually hosted at appleton petsmart) we require an approved application on file to make an appointment to see whom interests you.
