My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Mia is in a foster home and not at the kennel. Please submit an application at k9stray.com if interested in meeting her.**

Hi my name is Mia. I am a fabulous dog…my foster parents tell me all the time! I am a husky mix and weigh around 45 lbs. I am 11 months old.

I love dogs of all sizes and ages. I have playful puppy energy so I’d love to meet your dog too if you have one. We could be best buddies.

I have the most infectious smile. People can’t help but smile too when they see me. I am very affectionate and snuggly. In chaotic settings, I just need a few minutes to adjust to all the new stuff happening around me. Give me a few treats and I relax a lot quicker.

I know a bunch of commands: Come, Down, Off, Sit, and Shake. I am crate trained and well on my way to being potty trained. I am very smart so I’ve been learning the house rules and picking up the routine fast! Give me a little time and I’ll have your routine learned in no time!

Going for walks is the best time ever! I am pretty good at walking nicely on the leash. My foster family plays fetch with me and I’m great at this game. It is so much fun to bring the ball back to you so you can throw it for me again.

Oh my heavens, did I tell you about my LOVE for water? Bath time, kiddie pool, water hose, rivers, or wherever! I am water dog for sure.

You have got to meet me! I’m a pretty great pup.

If you are interested in Mia and are at least 21 years old, please fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
