My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tinkerbell
Tink is currently in a foster home, and not housed at the BCAS building, please place an application to show interest and give us your contact information to move forward.

The Neverland kittens began their story bought in as tiny bottle babies with their eyes barely open and were hand raised with love by fosters.

Tink was named well, she has turned out to be on the petite side and has all the attitude of a reigning princess. So, as her humble subjects we have provided her with only the fluffiest and softest of beds, as is her preference, and an array of toys of which to amuse her majesty with. Her highness also enjoys quiet cuddles while reading a good book, naps in the sunshine and nibbling on her providing food offerings. When well satisfied, she lavishes her subjects with purrs of praise and respectful eye squinches of adoration.

Tink's other attributes include her atypical tabby markings, black toe beans on tiny feet, and large expressive eyes which are looking like they will be green. She doesn't really appear to have a favorite toy, but rather will play with anything she can chase.

Tink will need an indoor only home and has been socialized with other cats and calm cat friendly dogs big and small (although her majesty looks down upon the dogs as lesser subjects.)

More about this shelter

The Bastrop Animal Control organization became a reality in 1998. We've grown since then and continue to do so as Bastrop County grows. Currently, we have 3 separate buildings containing a total of 90 large indoor/outdoor kennels and 8 play yards. We have 30 indoor cat kennels. We also have a 3 room cattery, that enables cats to live together in colony type environments until they find their forever home. If you have ever worked with or adopted a shelter pet, you know just how much they crave the attention and love we and our volunteers can provide and their eternal gratitude when they find their forever home at last.
