My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 1.5 years
Weight: 3.40 kg

This sweet Flower is looking for a calm, quiet home to bloom again in after a stressful couple of weeks. Known by her former owner as being a curious, social and affectionate girl, a recent change in lifestyle really threw Flo off her game. Now, she is looking for someone who can help her regain her former confident cat glory in a laidback environment! It will take her some time to warm up, but once she knows you're safe, Flo will cuddle, play and sleep with you until the end of time! Flo would also like to request that her future family does not have any dogs as she hasn't been the biggest fan. If you're ready to water this Flower with love, patience and tons of snuggles, pick her today!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
