My name is Semper!

Semper is a purebred 5yo American Bulldog-pit bull mix. We love him more than words can say but with our new baby we aren’t able to give him the attention he deserves and while he’s been good with the baby we still don’t feel 100% comfortable having large dogs while our son grows up. Semper is a giant sweetheart to everyone and a big mamas boy. His only shortcomings are that he doesn’t have the best obedience training and can jump when excited and pulls a lot on walks. He also has hip dysplasia and mild arthritis which doesn’t affect him too much except he takes a daily pill. Semper is not fixed as we were planning on breeding him but the vet recommended that he doesn’t breed because puppies would likely have the same hip problems. Semper has no problem with female dogs but has had issues with male dogs only if they try to show dominance. We aren’t asking any money for him, just a loving home. It would mean a lot to me if his new owners would allow me to remain in contact with them.
