My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Viper is a mischievous kitten who looks like a little cow with sparkling green eyes. He brings laughter to everyone with his playful antics, whether chasing his tail, pouncing on imaginary prey, or turning toilet paper tubes into toys. Viper was rescued along with his four brothers and his mama from a local kill shelter and has since grown big and fluffy. He's always the first one to the food dish with his tail held high and his little meow meow meow (feed me now!). Viper is more than just a fun kitten; he is a bundle of boundless energy, curiosity, and love!

Once approved and you agree the pet is right for you, sign the contract, pay the adoption fee and take your new family member home!

The Fayette County Humane Society (FCHS), staffed entirely by volunteers, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported entirely by individual and corporate donations. Because we do not have a shelter, all of the animals we rescue live in temporary foster homes until they are adopted. We believe that all companion pets have intrinsic value and should be treated with the reverence and care they deserve.
