My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Robbie is a lap lover. He loves all people. He is a brave boy. For example, when the air compressor kicked on, he startled, then went about his business again. His momma plays pretty rough and Robbie joins on in. Robbie and his littermates are the best tug-of-war puppies ever! All 4 of them will join in on a tug toy with or without a human in there too. Most puppies tend to try to grab the person's hand instead of the toy, not Robbie's family. They understand the game.

Robbie was born on at at Evansville Animal Care and Control. From there, his family moved to a VHS foster home. It has been a joy to raise this sweet family. Robbie is the second biggest of 4 puppies. He loves to play with anyone, but especially with his bigger brother, Ernie.

Robbie has the unique feature of being bi-eyed. He got his momma's blue eyes in one eye. The other is brown. So cool!

If the pet is already spayed/neutered, and we're not waiting on a meet & greet or medical results to come back, the pet can go home TODAY!

Additional adoption info

VHS Adoption hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 12:00-6:00 pm Central Standard Time.

Our adoption fees are as follows:

Cats & kittens: $100
Dogs older than 6 months: $200
Puppies under 6 months: $250
Rabbits: $50

Dog and cat adoption fees include the animal's spay or neuter, nationally-registered microchip, and age-appropriate vaccinations.
