My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Date of Birth: 6/10/22
Adoption Fee: $100.00

Hi, my name is Terry! I was adopted with my brother, Howie, as a baby kitten. Unfortunately, we were returned to Pippi's Place Rescue a little while ago. Our human brother developed really bad allergies to us. He had to start using something called an "inhaler"; that doesn't sound like fun at all. Our humans tried to do everything they could to keep us because they love us so much but nothing worked. Our foster mom is super nice. She talks to us softly and tells us that everything will be just fine. It took me a little bit to feel safe again in a new place but I am growing more and more confident every day so that my true personality shines through. I was sweet and cuddly as a kitten. I have grown into a calm, gentle boy who enjoys time with my humans. I like to jump on the bed with my foster mom to hang out for a bit when she goes to sleep at night. I really like it when she sits on the floor criss cross with her legs folded so that I can circle around to get comfortable. I am a silly guy sometimes! I let you know when I want attention by giving some major head butts! I have a great little purr motor that softly rumbles when we are spending time together. I get along well with other cats. My brother, Howie, taught me to be a "peacemaker" because he could be a little bossy! I am a lover, not a fighter, so I usually just let him have things his way. Got a mellow adult kitty like me who just enjoys knowing a feline friend is nearby? Maybe a kitten who needs a big brother? I would enjoy being with any kitty who would not try to take my spot on the bed or push me out of the way when I am getting pets from my humans...LOL! I will be just fine as a single kitty as well as long as my humans are able to spend time with me. Life threw me a curve ball when my family could no longer care for me but I am a resilient boy who is ready for a great future. Thanks for "listening" to my story. I am so excited to meet my new, FOREVER family!

More about this rescue

Pippi’s Place Pet Rescue is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to reducing the number of unwanted cats and kittens through the support of local Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs as well as placement of available felines in permanent homes.

We will rescue animals who are homeless due to owner surrender, endangered due to abandonment/neglect/abuse, and those at risk of being euthanized at area shelters.

We will place feline companions in loving homes following a comprehensive screening process which includes ensuring a good match between the animal and prospective adopter as well as educating potential adopters about the responsibilities associated with bringing a cat into their home.

All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, receive appropriate veterinary care including any necessary treatment, and will be placed in caring foster homes until the time of adoption.

We will work closely with local shelters and other rescue organizations to promote the importance of spaying/neutering companion animals. We will work with these agencies to develop a network of supporters and volunteers so that we may create a better world for homeless animals.
