My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Date of Birth: 6/13/24
Adoption Fee: $150.00
Date Posted: 9/16/24

Hi! My name is Tigger and I am so excited that it is finally a to meet my forever family! I am an adorable little orange boy who spreads sunshine all around me. My foster mom thinks my little pink nose against my orange fur is about the cutest thing she has ever seen. I enjoy playing with my toys and my kitten friends a lot. Do you know what I love MOST? Snuggle time with my humans! I let my purr motor rumble so that my foster mom knows how happy I am when she holds me. I can be held upside down on my back just like a baby. I will stay right there as long as you want to hold me. I want to let you know that my back legs are a little wobbly sometimes. The rescue people think that maybe a nerve in my lower back was damaged a little bit at some point. I don't really know what that means but it doesn't sound like a big deal. Guess what?! The animal doctor checked me out and said it isn't a thing at all...I am just fine. That silly nerve doesn't stop my from running, jumping, and climbing. Actually, you hardly even notice unless I start running real fast on a hard floor and sort of slip to the side. I just get all lined up again and keep on going! I am such a joyful, courageous little guy. Come meet me soon! I have lots of cuddles to share!

More about this rescue

Pippi’s Place Pet Rescue is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to reducing the number of unwanted cats and kittens through the support of local Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs as well as placement of available felines in permanent homes.

We will rescue animals who are homeless due to owner surrender, endangered due to abandonment/neglect/abuse, and those at risk of being euthanized at area shelters.

We will place feline companions in loving homes following a comprehensive screening process which includes ensuring a good match between the animal and prospective adopter as well as educating potential adopters about the responsibilities associated with bringing a cat into their home.

All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, receive appropriate veterinary care including any necessary treatment, and will be placed in caring foster homes until the time of adoption.

We will work closely with local shelters and other rescue organizations to promote the importance of spaying/neutering companion animals. We will work with these agencies to develop a network of supporters and volunteers so that we may create a better world for homeless animals.
