Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bran Flakes! He came to us as a stray who unfortunately was not reclaimed by an owner. We believe that he is approximately 4 years old. Unfortunately, Bran Flakes has tested FELV and FIV positive. He is now looking for a home without other cats OR a home with cats who are FELV positive. He HATES dogs and cannot be placed in a home with dogs. He loves people and a house with kids would be fine as well. Bran Flakes' adoption fee is $100 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccinations and felv/fiv testing. Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov or stop by during our normal open business hours to meet him.

Kendall County Animal Control is the county agency responsible for enforcement of the state statutes governing rabies control in domestic companion animals. The State of Illinois requires that all dogs are vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. Compliance with this law is monitored through the issuance of rabies tags for all dogs residing in the county. All dogs are required to wear their rabies tags when off of the owner's property. If a pet is lost, rabies tags also provide an excellent means of identifying your pet.
Kendall County Animal Control also enforces the county's ordinance that prohibits dogs from running at large in unincorporated residential subdivisions, investigates reports of animal bites, and will pick up contained stray dogs in unincorporated Kendall County during operating hours. Stray and owner released cats and dogs may also be brought to the facility during business hours. Cats and dogs are available for adoption at the facility.
