My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I`m Sandstorm, a friendly adult feline with a heart full of curiosity. I love exploring every nook and cranny of my surroundings, finding joy in the tiniest of things. My days are filled with sweet moments, from purring contentedly during cuddle sessions to playfully batting at dangling toys. I have a knack for making friends, both feline and human, and my amiable nature makes me a delightful companion. I`m not just a cat; I`m a friend, a confidante, a source of comfort. So, why should you adopt me? Because I promise to fill your life with love, laughter, and endless curiosity. I`ll be your faithful friend, your sweet companion, and your curious explorer, always ready to embark on new adventures with you.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
