Meet Winston! This happy, neutered male Shepherd mix came to us as a stray and we are so happy he did! He is a wonderful boy that loves attention and going on walks. Winston seems to do well with everyone he meets and would make a great companion for someone who wants a big, goofy lovebug!
Winston does have some separation anxiety so we would suggest a home where he can slowly settle into a routine and not be left alone for long periods at a time. We think that once he feels safe, he should do much better and feel confident! Winston seems to do well with other dogs but we would recommend an introduction at our facility to ensure that all is well.

Cats are $70.00, kittens are $100. Dogs are $100.00 and puppies are $150. This includes the spay or neuter, vaccination, microchips, a voucher for a free health exam at a local vet. We require photo identification and required adoption paperwork. You may take your new pet home the same day. There is a 7 day grace period for a refund to make sure that the animal is a fit for your household.

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
