Coco is an adorable 10 month old Chihuahua mix with a heartwarming story of resilience. She came to us as a cruelty case, having suffered from lower body paralysis due to being kicked. Despite her difficult past, Coco has made remarkable progress through rehabilitation. Her sweet personality shines through as she adores people, other dogs, and even cats. A true cuddle bug, she loves to snuggle up and enjoys a tasty treat.
Coco is crate-trained and will tuck herself into her crate when she's feeling nervous or bored. Due to her incontinence, she needs a diaper change a few times daily, but it's a blessing in disguise-no need to worry about accidents in the house! She's also well-suited for apartment living, as she doesn't require long walks. She does however wear a drag bag when moving about within the home. That said, she delights in her outdoor time, joyfully bouncing around chasing dragonflies.
If you're looking for a loving, resilient companion, come meet Coco. She deserves a forever home.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
