Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Radish was found with his siblings outdoors with no mom in sight. They are now in foster, enjoying the good life and waiting for adoption day! Their foster says that Radish is friendly, lovable, loves to run and play. He especially likes to play with his brother Sour Cream. This little fluff ball also likes to be held! If you're thinking about adopting multiple kittens, consider adopting Sour Cream and double your fun!
Dakin has put together our top tips to help your kitten settle into their new home. Please take a look at the video above, with the photos.
If you're ready to adopt now and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process in one of two ways:
Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! For in-shelter pets (not in foster care) coming in ASAP is the fastest way to adopt.
**the below two methods are slower than visiting us**
Call us (413-781-4000 x 1) or email us (springfield@dakinhumane.org) for more information about a pet. We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours.
All kitten adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies vaccination (if over 12 weeks of age)
-current on distemper vaccines (will need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-FeLV blood test
-microchip implanted & registered to the adopter
-treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites
-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin
-free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians
Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
