Meet Hottie Roddie

Hottie Roddie is a happy, romping, curious and affectionate little guy. Recently rescued from an overcrowded shelter, Roddie quickly learned that having a yard to romp in is a pretty cool thing!

At four months old, he already seems wise beyond his young age. He is very observant of the other pups around him, as if he's studying "how to be a good dog" behavior. Don't let his serious expression in these pictures fool you! Although not a fan of posing for pictures, when the camera is put away, Roddie scampers around the playground with the other pups, thoroughly enjoying the day.

Affectionate and a bit of a cuddle bug, Hottie Roddie enjoys a good belly rub from his humans. Treat motivated, his little eyes will lock on you as he listens carefully to instructions. This sweet boy is sure to bond with his people, and will give them many years of love and loyal companionship!

Almost Home Dog Rescue NC is a small foster-based rescue group in Western Carolina. After volunteering for years in a local county animal shelter, we could not turn away from the dogs that needed our help the most. We have created a home environment with comfy cabins for the pooches in our fun red barn and provide loads of fun, enrichment and training for the pups in our care.
