Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ocean is a female kitten born in late May 2024. She has a really pretty dilute tortoiseshell coat. Ocean is in a foster home with littermates Shark and Anchor. Her foster says, "Ocean is a favorite of my kids. She's happy to be carried around and snuggled on the couch. Ocean has been raised around our dogs and foster dogs. Her closest kitty friend is her brother Shark. Ocean is such a curious girl; she's always popping up to see what we're doing. She's going to be such a great new family member for someone." All of our cats are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and spayed or neutered.

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $160 to $185. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
