Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi, I`m Luther! My sister, Lisel, and I became homeless on a rainy Saturday morning, September 14, 2024. We were discovered munching on a torn bag of dog food when the animal shelter arrived to help us. Kerry, the shelter director, opened her vehicle`s hatch, and without hesitation, we both jumped in to escape the rain. Even when we reached the shelter and the hatch was opened again, we stayed put, feeling safe for the first time in a while. I have a light brindle coat that`s quite striking, if I do say so myself. Lisel, on the other hand, has a darker brindle pattern and doesn`t photograph as well—but don’t let that fool you; she`s the better playmate when it comes to other dogs. Cats? Well, let`s just say we`ve had our share of run-ins, and we`re not exactly fans. We`re both heartworm negative, sterilized, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready for new homes—whether together or separately. We love toys, running, and playing. I walk well on a leash, though I`m a bit head-shy, unlike Lisel, who’s a total trooper. If you’re looking for a loyal companion or two, come visit us at the West Memphis Animal Shelter. We can’t wait to meet you!
