From his foster: Micah is a sweet little guy who will be your best friend, he's very affectionate and truly a velcro dog always wanting to sit in your lap and cuddle. He easily warmed up to everyone in the house and keeps a low profile. However he gets jealous when my resident pup comes for affection, but then he's not aggressive. Micah is crate trained, he will protest in the crate for a few mins and if you ignore him, he soon settles down for a nap. He can sleep through the night. But he would love to sleep with you, in your bed.
Micah is not food motivated so we have to find other ways to train him. He also gets extremely anxious outdoors, seems like he's not been outdoors much, I have taken him on a trail and he didn't fare well. He doesn't know how to walk on the leash which we are currently working on. I live on a busy street, so he shivers when i take him outside, so I take him out early morning or late evening and he did okay. If you live in a quiet neighborhood, he can easily get acclimated to outdoors and slowly will do well on walks. This will be Micah's biggest hurdle to overcome. Taking him to parks and socializing him with people and general life and noises would need a little patience and understanding and then he will be the best companion for your life!! You just need to take a chance
