He is a rescue from the Knoxville, TN shelter. We are an elderly couple who recently had orthopedic surgery and feel that we are unable to give this sweet dog the exercise he needs. We have put our home up for sale (His sister is on Adoptapet too. Pet ID 6222505) He is anxious around cars. Balanced Paws, a pet training business, will give the new owner a 10% discount on lessons. The trainer used to work with Cesar Milan.
Gigot is very sweet. He does very well with our grandchildren and is very gentle. We are looking for a home that has a younger owner who will continue to show the dog the attention he needs. He is cage trained. He is house broken. He knows the commands of stay, sit and place.
The person adopting this dog should provide a recommendation from their Vet and a site visit, by the current owners, will be requested to make sure Gigot goes to a proper home. Please bring this loving dog to your home!!!
