Rollo is going to come zooming into your life and bring all of the fun back that you've been missing! She's a 3 year old Belgian Malinois that somehow, found herself a stray on the city streets. She's thrilled to be in good hands now though, as is evidenced by her happy-zoomies that she does every time she gets in our exercise yard, and also by how she leans against you, gazing up at you to get you to pet her forever. What a sweet, happy girl Rollo is! She's a true goofball and her ear that flops over makes her all the more silly. She's also very smart, well-behaved, she's had some training and walks perfectly on a leash. Rollo knows some commands and she listens well too. She absolutely loves to run and play, and she enjoys meeting other dogs. Rollo is going to be the most loyal friend you've ever had if you give her the chance! We require a completed adoption application which can be obtained at our facility, or from our website: www.ahscares.org. We also require proof of home ownership if you own, or a copy of a lease stating that pets are allowed with no restrictions if you rent. We require vet records for any pets owned in the last five years as well. Our adoption fees vary based on age, breed, etc. Please call our facility for exact fee 609-693-1900.

The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.

For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.

The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
