What a bouncy bundle of boy handsome hunk Sage is! He’s destined to be the life of the party and everyone’s favorite lovebug in fun-loving and affectionate family. He’s the perfect “hunter” personality and comically prowls and pounces with his lively sibling posse who know that he will be the first to grab a toy and dash away with it in his mouth! He’s also a big fan of feathers and bells, is fascinated by feet, and loves to cuddle up and be loved on! He’s a total dude in his gorgeous sunny orange coat of rippling stripes, making him the most classic of cats - the beloved marmalade tabby! Sweetheart Sage is ready and waiting to bring his great gifts of fun and affection to the forever circle of your love!

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.

You may visit The Cat House daily, except major holidays, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
