My name is Monte!

Monte| 1.5 years old | 50lbs
Hey there! My name is Monte and I was hand selected by K9s For Warriors in December of 2023 from Nassau humane society and passed all my initial tests with flying colors. Since arriving at K9s, I've decided I would much rather be a family companion over having to work for a living. Although I can be sometimes scared of noises, once you get to know me I am extremely sweet. One of my favorite activities is playtime with dog pals of all sizes! I also love puzzle feeders, playing fetch and lots of love from my person. I am a pretty intelligent guy and eager to learn new things, especially if you have tasty treats! I settle well in my crate and am even housetrained. I even already know most of my basic cues and am neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and eagerly waiting for my furever home!
