Can be a bit shy upon initial contact, but warms up quickly, and his confidence is increasing every day.
Very food motivated.
Love to play with rope and chew toys, and to tussle with his brother Sammy.
Gets along great with resident dogs, and kids.
Very gentle mouth.
Loves spending time outdoors, laying in the grass, and loves belly rubs.
Doing well with sleeping in the crate and learning to do his business outside.â€‹

Copper's Dream Animal Rescue focuses its work on pulling dogs from high kill shelters like Bakersfield, where 50% of the 500 new dogs taken in every week are put down. What does the adoption fee cover? Vaccinations, spay/neuter, usually kennel cough treatment, any other medical issues and transportation and/or boarding fees if necessary. Every dollar of your adoption fee goes toward the care and treatment of our dogs.
