My name is 44923 - Dior!

Dior is a sweet, tolerant medium sized dog who knows sit and paw. She was recently at a Pet Parade where she loved meeting the other dogs, people and children. She even said hi to the 2 cats that were there!  Dior is smart and food motivated for training. She is powerful on leash and will need a strong owner to hold onto her. She is a gentle, silly soul. At the shelter, Dior is still very scared in her dog kennel. There is some memory where she thinks something bad is going to happen, so she will look like the saddest dog in there when you visit. Once she is out of her cage, she wiggles her butt and is so sweet. She likes attention and really likes to play with toys too. Dior is demure and has been a pleasure to have around.  She is quiet and has gotten along with other dogs here too if introduced properly. We do not recommend her to go to a home with another female dog or another dog who is dominant. If you have a male dog at home, they will need to come by during our Animal Viewing hours below to see if they are a good match. She would love a yard to run around but also enjoys her multiple walks a day. She is a medium sized dog and reminds us of a Shorty Bull.
