My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maya was pulled from the Ft. Worth Animal Shelter hours before she was set to be euthanized. She has adjusted well to living in a home environment. So far she has been tested with young children, cats, and dogs and has done great. We have no doubt she will strive once she’s adopted. She loves giving kisses as well.

Her adoption fee is $200 and covers all of her vaccines, her spay, and will come with a new bed.

We started Sheila's Hope Animal Rescue in memory of our little Sheila. She was in a shelter for 8 years before we adopted her. Our hope is that no animal has to wait that long for love.
