My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Flame! 🧡🤍🧡 This beautiful, big boy loves humans but is unsure of other cats, so he might be better as your only love muffin. He is good for it and a real snuggle pie. He is not a small kitty, so he wants to have fluffy beds everywhere for him to stretch out. As you can see, he likes to bask in the sunshine! Flame was found as a stray and taken to the pound at the end of August. Neshama Animal Rescue took him to rescue on his euthanasia day. He is currently in a foster home enjoying playing and getting lots of positive human interaction! He can be shy at first, but after he comes out of his shell, he can’t get enough attention! Flame would do better in a peaceful home with older children and a savvy cat owner.

Neshama Rescue is an all volunteer independent, 501(c)(3) animal welfare and education organization. Our mission is to promote the rescue and adoption of companion animals, with a focus on senior and special needs pets. We believe every soul has intrinsic value and we seek to help communities see that value to create a kinder world. Our goals are to rescue animals from shelters, place them in loving foster homes, and adopt them out to forever homes, as well as strengthen our communities’ education, laws and regulations regarding animal overpopulation and care.
