Introducing Minerva aka Minnie! Minnie is a 5 month old Shepherd mix puppy who weighs approximately 18 pounds. She has bright hazel eyes, a sweet contagious smile and the most adorable set of ears – they are sure to make you giggle! This happy, beautiful girl was rescued by her foster mom from a high kill shelter and tells us that she is an energetic ball of love! Minnie is doing great with her social skills and gets along great with cats, other dogs and children. Minnie loves to show off her zoomie skills and keeps her foster family entertained for hours with her silly antics! Her perfect forever home with be with an active individual or family and she would love another well-adjusted fur sibling to romp and play with! Minnie is crate trained and is 90% potty trained; she is still learning to walk on a leash but is very smart and picks up commands/behaviors quickly. Minnie loves to army crawl under beds and take her chew toys with her so as not to be disturbed. She also loves to play fetch and tries to squeak her toys as much as possible, she’s all the entertainment you will ever need! Please remember that puppies are a lot of work and will need continued socialization and training as they grow. Minnie is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and has been dewormed and microchipped. We will call if we feel you are a fit for one of our adoptable pets. Once confirmed, we will set up a meet and greet with the pet.

Home Check

We will visit your home to see the environment where the dog will live and answer your questions.

Additional adoption info

Additional Information:

If applicable, we'll call your veterinarian to ensure that previous pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and well cared for.

For renters, we'll check with your landlord to ensure that dogs are permitted and that the dog that you're adopting wouldn't violate any size or breed restrictions.

Adoption fees are generally between $300-$450 depending on which pup you are adopting.

Leashes of Love Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from local high-kill shelters in Southern California and owners who can no longer care for them. Our goal is not only to place dogs in well-matched, carefully screened forever homes, but also to educate dog owners about responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
