My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Anya is a 4.5-month-old girl who weighs 18 lb and is a shy but yet very loving sweet girl. She is around all sorts of other animals and loves each and every one of them. Including the cats. She likes slower introductions with busy young children so we're suggesting a little calmer older child home if there are children living in the family place. She is pretty close to being housebroken and she is a loving little girl that will grow to be 45 lb to maybe 50 tops. She has so much to experience in life and does embrace it if done in a very proper and calm way. I guess you could say she's a deep soul that needs a little paw holding as she goes through life. If you are interested in Anya and what you can offer her and she can certainly bring to your life, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at

PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
