The wine kittens were born to an unspayed family pet who snuck out and ended up pregnant. The family cared for the kittens but needed help finding them homes and reached out to us.
---Pinot is the smallest with the sweetest meow! She follows you around and might jump on your back when you're cleaning; she'll rub her face against your and wants lots of attention and laptime. Pinot likes to carry her favorite crunch ball around in her mouth. ---Chardonnay likes to give random hugs and is a total lapcat who follows you with Pinot. She also hops on your shoulders when she feels she needs more attention. She loves little soccer balls, cardboard toys, and anything she can get her paws on. ---Verdot always wants to be in the action. He plays hard but also loves on his siblings by grooming them. He'll carry his lamb chop toy around and naps on the high perch of the cat tree. If you catch him during nap time, he'll roll on his back to accept tummy rubs! ---Merlot's is the meow you will hear first and he is an immediate greeter so you know he's there and ready for attention; he'll follow you trying to rub on your feet and legs (don't trip!). He loves being a lap kitty though also does a lot of running around with Verdot. ---Cabernet aka Cabby loves to run around with her siblings and stand on top of cardboard toys, even if they collapse! She is a sweet girl who enjoys lots of pets and afternoon naps on kitty shelves. ---Syrah is a sweet and quiet girl who is the main observer of the group, usually from the top of the cat tree. She'll join in to chase down balls and wand toys, but likes to watch just as much. Syrah is affectionate with her humans and enjoys a side-by-side nap with you.
The kittens all love each other but if you're looking for a wine pairing suggestion they have naturally put themselves in these sets: Pinot and Chardonnay, Verdot and Merlot, and Cabernet and Syrah. They are sweet and adaptable and could like acclimate to other cats, cat-friendly dogs, and gentle children.
As feline sommeliers, we say you can't go wrong with any of these kittens! Which will you pick?
