Hi! My name is Tahoe. Im 2.5 years old. People who know me would call me a lover boy. I love to snuggle and be close to my people. Like in your lap close! Once I know you are mine, I will be your best friend and follow you everywhere! I am super loyal like that! I have big brown eyes that sink into your soul. I am very active. I love to run and play with other dogs. I grew up with 3 human children who I loved to love on and protect. I am very smart and know most of my commands. I am very eager to please, so I will always listen. Especially when I am told to come, sit, shake, or go to bed. I am fully potty trained and crate trained. I love my crate and will often sit in there to take a nap! Oh, and I am a toy dog! Meaning- I love my toys! Will you adopt me so that I have someone to play with?! If you promise to love me, I promise to love you 10x more!

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.

We are a private, nonprofit, all breed, no-kill dog rescue.
