Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Toothless the Cat! No, not the dragon, but he can be firstly like one! Toothless was found as a stray and cared for by a wonderful family until one day he came home seriously injured. Toothless was as picked up and brought to HSAC by one of our fosters to be evaluated and seen by a vet. Toothless had seriously injured his back left leg, preventing him from bearing weight on it. He was seen by Dr. Schram with Affordable Vet Clinic, Winchester, OH where he was treated for his pain and nasty infection. His pain level was intense, causing him to react to everything and be upset. The plan was to save his leg, re-set it and let him heal but unfortunately it did not go that way. Toothless was operated on and had his leg amputated. He is now back with the foster dad that brought him to HSAC so he can heal in a calm environment. Toothless is showing that he is a very sweet boy and couldn’t help the pain he was in. He enjoys getting lovins and attention. Toothless will need an owner that will give him the care he needs as he is now a tripod cat. Toothless is an indoor cat ONLY, litter box trained, and ready for adoption! If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
