My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Updated: 05NOV24

**Meet Winnie - The Playful Companion! **

Name: Winnie
Gender: Female
Weight: 52 lbs of pure joy
Vaccination Status: Up to date with vaccinations (she's ready for her health spa day!)
Spay Status: Spayed (no surprise puppy parties here!)

**Winnie's Story**

Winnie is a winner! This delightful young lady was left behind when her family moved out-talk about a bad breakup! Thankfully, a Good Samaritan swooped in and took her in, and now she's on a quest to find a forever home that will treat her like the royalty she was born to be!

**Personality**

Winnie is the life of the party! This active pup loves to play and have fun, and she's a pro at making friends-especially if treats are involved! She's great with kids (the youngest in her foster home is 9 years old and has learned to play fetch like a pro). Winnie gets along famously with other dogs, big and small! She even has a cat roommate she's learning to live with-though we suspect she thinks the cat is just a furry toy that moves on its own!

Winnie has a heart of gold and is always ready for a warm hug; she'll jump up just to get one! She's a sucker for belly scratches and will gladly spend all day at the dog park if allowed. With a set of brown eyes that can melt anyone's heart, she's truly irresistible!

**Training and Skills**

Winnie knows how to sit, lay down, and fetch, and she's very receptive to training-especially when cheese treats are involved! This food-driven girl is eager to learn and impress. She's house trained, crate trained, and up-to-date on her vaccines-basically, she's got her life together! She's heartworm negative and ready to find her forever family. Just a heads up: her next home will need a secure privacy-fenced yard because, let's face it, a chain-link fence is no match for her adventurous spirit! She's basically a furry escape artist in training.

**Adoption Info**

Winnie is eagerly waiting for a family that will cherish her and provide the love and fun she deserves. If you're looking for a playful companion with a heart full of love and a knack for making you laugh, Winnie is the girl for you! Get ready for a lifetime of tail wags, goofy antics, and maybe a few couch potato marathons!
