Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Sally is a smart, energetic 2 month old Black Mouth Cur mix currently residing at Aledo Ranch and Sanctuary with her siblings. While she's still working on her social skills and can be a bit reactive (snappy) at times, she's eager to learn and will thrive with proper guidance. Sally would do best in a home with a well-socialized adult dog to help her continue learning positive behaviors.
She loves spending time outdoors and enjoys playing with the adult German Shepherds at the sanctuary, who are showing her the ropes. Sally is active and will need an equally active home, ideally with someone experienced in working breeds who can provide her with the training and social exposure she needs. Due to her mouthy nature, she's not suited for homes with young children, and she may need to be tested with cats before adoption.
If you're ready for an energetic, loyal companion and have the time and patience to help Sally reach her full potential, she could be the perfect fit for you!
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
