For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Meet Mario, a sweet and gentle, 8-year-old terrier-mix who's looking for a forever home where he can feel safe and loved. This handsome guy came to the shelter as a stray and was a bit nervous at first, but with a little time he's starting feel comfortable and shown what a sweetheart he is! Mario will shower you with affection and snuggles at the first chance he gets. If you're looking for a gentle soul who will steal your heart, Mario might just be the perfect fit for you! The adoption fee is $50 and before Mario leaves the shelter, he will be neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines.

Caddo Parish Animal Services is an open-admission shelter meaning no homeless animal is turned away. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and when that is not possible, find a new home for them, provided that they are healthy and not aggressive.
