My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gertrude is ready for her forever home. Gertie, as her foster dad lovingly calls her, was once cherished by an elderly couple in Arizona, but they both passed away within a short time of each other and her life changed, which can be a difficult thing for a Chow Chow. After moving to Texas, she joined HCCC. Her environment is once again stable, and she is starting to feel safe and come out of her shell, showing off her sweet, dainty, and calm demeanor. Despite everything, she remains a symbol of resilience and is ready to find her new family to love and cherish her.

**Gertrude is located in Austin, TX. Paid transport can be arranged. Transport costs range from $200-400.**
