Hi, I am Presley, but I go by Baby because I am adorable. I am about 1.5 years old and 14 pounds. I am a terrier/poodle mix. I can’t tell my foster mom about my former life, but it made me very scared and timid. I just got neutered and was also groomed. The grooming was petrifying for me. It would help to find a forever home that is experienced with grooming or understands the normal approach isn’t going to work for my pretty looks. I do like my foster mom’s quiet home so I think, unless something changes, I probably shouldn’t be with a big family. I like my furry foster brother, but he is a little bigger (50 lbs) than I would like for a forever brother or sister. Maybe a sibling more my size that can help me learn to dog better and play with them. He does help me figure out how to go outside for walks. I haven’t figured out my harness or lease yet, but my foster mom gives me lots of love to put my gear on for potty breaks and mini walks. I have surprised my foster mom about my bathroom skills after I got comfy in this new life. I don’t tell her that I have to go but I hold it really well till it is time to go out. I still live in my bedroom (crate) when she isn’t home or for bedtime. I also love collecting things and keep telling my foster mom how much all socks belong with me. One of my other mad skills is counting, I can count to two and I know my mom has two hands for petting all the time. I can Velcro onto her lap and demand pets perfectly. If she only uses one hand, I tell her I can count and she has two hands for petting. Lots of loving is a must. I am a work in progress, but I do have a curiosity for life and surprise my foster mom every day with new milestones.
