If you’re not interested in living life in the fast lane, this frosty- faced senior sir may be the one for you! Remington is definitely not interested in that kind of life either- he’s looking to be a low maintenance couch potato companion. This distinguished elder is gentle, moves at a pace similar to a sloth, and does not want to train for a marathon with you (unless it’s on Netflix).

The shelter is no place for a senior citizen, and we’d love to send Remington off to a cozy retirement home. He would be an easy peasy sidekick- happy to join you for a slow amble around the block, and just as happy to lounge at home with you. While Remington has no problem snoozing the day away at the shelter, we know he’d prefer a cozy bed in a warm home. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Remington today!!

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Mon - Tues: 12-7pm Wed - 1:30-7pm Thurs - Fri: 12-7pm Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm Must be checked in 45 minutes before close

2.
Meet the Pet

Once you have decided which pets you are interested in, sign in for an adoption counselor who will guide you through the adoption process.

3.
Take the Pet Home

Cats must leave in a carrier and dogs must leave in a carrier or on leash. We do have these available for purchase in our lobby store.

Additional adoption info

Year-Round Adoption Fees:
• Puppies and kittens less than 4 months old $50
• Adult dogs and cats $30
• A standard $20 dog license fee may apply
• Pets who have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a family and pets over 5 years old $0 - Fee Waived!

Every adoption includes:
• Spay or neuter surgery
• First Vaccinations
• Microchip
• Vet visit certificate
• Pet insurance
