My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greta came in with a number of other cats when her owner passed away. She hid in the corner and was completely frozen and shut down when she first arrived. But with lots of time, gentle coaxing and *lots* of treats, she started to become curious about the humans that were spending so much time with her.

Over weeks & weeks she became more confident & was more brave about coming out of her box for treats. Eventually we were able to pet her softly while she ate. After a while she started to get even more comfortable & came out on her own for treats. Now she comes to the front of her cage to greet you & give you the most adorable little mews. And when you open the cage door she will approach you & rub up against your hand or arm to say hi & that she’s happy to see you. She’s still a bit shy when you reach in to pet her, but she is getting less skittish as we continue to work with her. Greta is quite a stunning, charming little lady who is looking for a patient owner with a quiet home (no kids please) to continue working on building her confidence. If that sounds like you, and you`re willing to put the time in, you`ll be rewarded with a loving and loyal friend.
