My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miss Loki!

This girl is as sweet as they come! Loki & her brother were found as strays in Lubbock back in June by a good samaritan when they were just 3 mo old. They kept them safe while still trying to their "owners". They also reached out to the local humane society for help placing them in loving homes. We immediately reached out and advised we would take them into rescue. Loki & Logan arrived in NJ on Aug 09th. Logan was adopted a week later and this sweet girl is still waiting. Loki is now 5 1/2 mos old, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She is shy with strangers initially, but warms up quickly. Loki is fantastic with other dogs, is fine with cats, and is good with kids but would do best in a home with kids that are a bit older.
The perfect home for Loki would be a home that doesn't have a constant flow of people in & out. She will look for a place to hide if there is a lot of people around. She will also need another dog in the home to play with/learn from. We can not stress enough how sweet this little girl is and would be the perfect addition to most families. Side note, in true Lab fashion she LOOOOVES water!!! Loki is crate trained and housebroken. If you would like to make this sweet girl a part of your family, please complete the online application to begin the process.

More about this rescue

FurryTails Endings Canine Rescue is a small rescue based out of Central NJ. We are an all volunteer group that obtained our Federal 501(c)(3) status in Oct 2015. We rescue from shelters in Tx, AL, MS, SC, NC, WV where there is an over abundance of strays & owner surrenders with a very high-kill rate. Please bare with us as we build and grow. It's a long process that is well underway, but we still have a long way to go. If you would like to help, please let us know! We would love to hear from you, because we strongly feel that without having people like you, we would not be able to save lives! We will do all we can to help our adopters pick the perfect family pet for there lifestyle. We also start our dogs with basic manners and test them for everything so you know what you are adopting from us . Our policy is to be honest about our rescued dogs temperament and health, we tell you everything we know about the dog/puppy. I know I do not like surprises so I do the same for our adopters. We charge lower adoption fees as we feel a good home is way more important then trying to get back what we put into our dogs . We do not do this for the money, we do it for the animals, to give them a second chance at a better life. All our dogs/puppies go from the shelter into a home setting to see how they get along with other dogs/cats. We answer all questions people have and support our rescued dogs and adopters til the end . We do not leave you after you adopt from us we are always a phone call or email away with questions you may have or training advice. Thank you for your support while we take this journey to change the lives of shelter dogs & puppies for the better ...
